If you have lots of events to add to your Google Calendar and do not want to add the one at a time via the browser interface then this is for you. You can use a spread sheet to enter all your events details quickly and import them into Google Calendar.

Here’s how. Open your spread sheet program and create 5 columns in this order:

Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, All day event

Under each columns populate the events’ details and remember the date must be in this format dd/mm/yy if you are in Au or mm/dd/yy if in US. The time format like the following h:mm:ss am/pm. All day events is either TRUE or FALSE.

Once done click on SaveAs and choose a .csv format to save the file. Then from your Google account www.google.com/calendar go to the settings icon in the top right (the little mechanical wheel icon) and select settings. Select Calendars, Import Calendar, browse to you file and select it and you are done.
